Why should Rheumatology be important to you?

Should you suffer from a rheumatic disease, this will quickly leave you in a state of immense pain should you not treat it quickly. These conditions are inflammatory diseases and they do leave joint and bones stiff without treatment rendering you immobile as the immune system attacks the muscles over time. For example, a person who has gout, which is a rheumatoid disease, will quickly experience fluid buildup in the joints and this will render them unable to apply pressure on the joint due to intense pain. This is caused through inflammation. This is a painful experience and should be prevented beforehand.
